We have just enjoyed the most wonderful 3 days we have had in a long time. Not because life has been bad, but because these days have been so so great! We have been and still are at Lake Sinclair. Arts parents are continuing their adventure in Wyoming so we have taken over their home for the week. The Waddells joined us on Friday and just left a few hours ago. That has been my only complaint yet - that they are gone. Amy and her family are the perfect friends for us. I am so thankful for her and Chris and all of their precious children. It is uncommon that two families can combine like ours do - we seem to mesh well together - fill in the gaps when needed - and just have lots and lots of fun. Amy has been my sweet friend for a long time. It is fun to see our kiddos and husbandsenjoying each other now. We had NINE people here- is that crazy? just two families makes 9 people? Seems like a lot to me for some reason! Emma Kate has always had a thing for Jacob, now 4, but just this summer I think she has really taken a liking to Anna Claire. I am thankful for that. It is so sweet to see them playing and swimming together and at the same encouraging one another and having full on conversations. Harper and Kathryn are just 3 months apart so maybe one day they too will be friends! We have been outside for 48 hours straight - very very little TV, slip n slide, jet ski, skiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, tubing, floating, jumping, bellyflopping by Anna Claire, chocolate covered bananas, some yummy food, lots of diet coke, sun and perfect perfect weather!!! Can you tell we are having fun? Am I getting the point across? Amber and Coltan are joining us on Tuesday and Sam and Art should be making their way here on Thursday. Seriously, if you are out there and would like to join us, let me know! The more the merrier! Its only 2 hours away so you can even just come for the day!
