I think this will be a favorite of mine!Yes, we went to the B'ham zoo this weekend. I wasn't sure Emma Kate was really old enough to enjoy it. Much to my surprise she was FASCINATED! I couldn't believe it! If you have a child close to 18months you must take them to the zoo. She loved the tigers, was scared of the giraffes, loved the monkeys and was really really crazy about the HIPPO even though he was the lazziest one there! Oh yes, and she thought the alligator was pretty cool too!
One critical error we made was leaving the stroller in Atlanta. Oops - but with the two of us there it wasn't that big of a deal. We plan to buy a season pass to the Atlanta Zoo very soon. If anyone would ever like to go let me know! We would love to go with you!
