Its been a big week (pictures to come!)

I can't find my camera, but think there have been lots of pictures to take. Oh well.
Emma Kate is growing up before our very eyes. She is becoming more kind, patient, thoughtful, smart, etc every day. It's true. I think over the last few weeks we have really turned a little corner. Of course we still struggle through getting dressed and lots of other things but only every now and then instead of every day. She still prefers to play with whatever toy another child is playing with BUT she is getting better about not pitching fits and grabbing it away. Ella Bella can attest to this!!! We have been trying our best to teach her to be so loving and kind and I think our hard work is paying off!!! Not to mention lots of prayers throughout the day - and the prayer of family and friends for our little girl!
Potty training is better than ever - good thing right? Its been 6 months now since she wore her last diaper during the day, but we have been through lots of pull-ups. The last week she has been wearing real big girl undies and has not had one accident - well, not one while we have been out - she had two while at home one day but i can handle that! And last night, drum roll please, Emma Kate Douglas, our baby girl, slept in a twin bed. IN A TWIN BED! What!?! My baby - Agh! She was so proud - I love that look on her face - Art has the same look and it always makes me giggle inside, if not out loud. Arts parents are coming today to help organize, clean and put in some pull-down stairs up to the attic. We need storage space and this will be awesome as we get ready for baby sister. Emma Kate has been wonderful with her little baby doll lately too, which is something she has never been interested in. She knows just how to hold her, pat her on the back, puts her down to sleep, wakes her up, changes her diaper, etc. Only every now and then does she totally drop her on her face - oops! We'll be more careful with a real baby I hope!
