My favorite Christmas ever!

More pictures
This was a Christmas to beat all Christmases! It was so fun! Emma Kate certainly has a lot to do with that of course! She was so into it this year. Jesus' birthday, making a cake for Him, getting gifts for Daddy, Nana, Papa, MomMom, etc. She was just thrilled with all lof it. Even Santa didn't seem so bad by Christmas Day. Last weekend we celebrated with Arts family. Tuesday before Christmas we celebrated with my family, Wednesday we headed to Callaway Gardens to spend the next two days with Moms entire family, Thursday was Christmas and we headed back home that evening, Friday Arts parents came to town and we did MORE with them, Saturday we went to Newnan and spent the night with the Waddells, Sunday we were back home with lots of fun memories and time spent with very cherished family and friends!
It was a whirlwind I guess but each day was so fun and had different things to look forward to!
The backpack above was one of EK's favorite gifts (and maybe the cheapest!) Thanks MomMom!!!
PlayDoh was an instant hit, the dollhouse will be one thats around forever. We took her to PBK this weekend to choose another set of furniture to go in it - she was buying it with the money my grandmother gave her. She chose the baby nursery but that night was yelling to us from her bed that she really wanted the kitchen. Oops! We actually bought the kitchen too, but plan to save it for another holiday or special event!
My moms family is so special. The dynamic is just hilarious to take in and so fun to be a part of! No one holds much back so you just kind of have to go with the flow. The weather was PERFECT so we spent a lot of time outside. GrandDad wasn't feeling too swell but still managed to see the lights with us and eat most meals. He was definitely missed though.
One of my favorite moments was when EK was opening her stocking. She found something that resembeled candles and said, "Oh candles for JeJe's Birthday!" My heart could just melt. Even with all the gifts and craziness going on around she still remembered that today was Jesus' birthday. So sweet. I mean, I know she doesn't really get it yet, but this is certainly a start in the right direction! I hope we can keep it going!
There is so much to share, but so little time. Maybe I will make updates as the days go on. For now I need to do some home baby preparation! She'll be here relatively soon! And still no name! However, Campbell is Arts #1 and EK has chosen Abigail. I am still not feeling anything except for this girl kicking me non-stop!!!
